Some of our portfolio of test and production apps...
We've produced several apps. These are some of the apps that we created early on for our own purposes (not for clients). Although some of these are no longer being updated, at least a few show how carefully we design and build our apps because even several operating system updates later, they still perform perfectly. Have a look at our sample apps for some ideas about what we can do for you.
Rise of the Urban Eagle App SeriesWith both a heartwarming original story featuring a young pigeon and his father as the main protagonists as well as a set of games that related to and built upon the story, Rise of the Urban Eagles is a solid reading and activity app built specifically for the Apple iPad. The app itself has been available for free download since its release in 2011. Full app access or just access to the story and/or any of the three included games are available as in-app purchases.
As an experiment, ROTUE was also separated out into four smaller apps to test the market reaction. Just the storybook as well as each of the games that are featured in ROTUE can also be downloaded and purchased as separate, standalone apps. ROTUE is remarkable for how well it was designed and programmed. From day one the app has had virtually NO bugs and high performance functionality that continues to work perfectly through four iOS upgrades with few or no changes to the code. |
The quintessential social media appThe idea was very simple, and, given that many applications for business have been created to do exactly the same thing, very useful. Soshagg was designed to be a social media aggregator (which is where the name sosh-agg came from). The idea was to make it simple for people to post and read from all of their social media accounts from a single app on either their phone or their tablet. Built for both Android as well as iOS, Soshagg only made it through a version 1.0 even though updates and modifications were designed and planned through a version 4.0 when this app could be used to set up accounts on the various sites and manage them all from a single interface. Alas, it was a big idea for which our clients had limited funding. Not updated in several years it now has several functional limitations.
Soshagg was made available in an ad-supported free version (as Soshag with a single "g") as well as a modestly priced version with no ads (Soshagg) and is available not only on the Apple App Store and Google Play, but also on Amazon. |
Daily Word FindCurrently still available on the Apple App Store for either the iPad or iPhone, Daily Word Find was intended to be exactly that - a word find puzzle app that featured a new word find puzzle each and every day. Still functional with a random puzzle generator, DWF is still available on the Apple App Store, although no new "daily" puzzles have been added for quite some time.

Some of our other concepts and ideas...
Fully produced but never marketed, Modern Fiction Digest was designed to be an on-demand fiction reader app that provided an iBooks or Kindle like experience, but for short fiction.
|
A recipe app on steroids, Chef's Cauldron was designed to be a multi-media app that not only provided access to the recipes, but also videos on how to make those foods as well as the capability to share your recipes and instructional videos as well.

A political and lifestyle blog and interactive app that was intended to be a forum like outlet for independent thinkers on a variety of topics. Somewhat similar to Reddit but designed first and foremost for the mobile crowd, Skibbity was intended primarily to be a highly interactive content app that served as the hub of conversations great and small.
